Overview

Axis is a specialist Mechanical (HVAC) Pipework Contractor, with vast experience across all HVAC pipework systems, delivering pipework installations for major commercial, healthcare, education and infrastructure projects. Every system is designed, prefabricated and installed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
We deliver mechanical pipework across the full breadth of HVAC systems, heating, cooling, chilled water and condenser water, working in collaboration with the HVAC Contractor from early in the design phase. As a specialist subcontractor, we take responsibility for the complete pipework scope: pre-fabrication, installation and delivery through to project completion.
Pipework installation across heating, cooling, chilled water and condenser water systems, plant rooms and riser reticulation. We coordinate with the HVAC Contractor and design consultants to resolve system design, sizing, routing and interfaces ahead of installation, then deliver against project programs and specifications.
Supported by our in-house design and engineering resources, we work with the HVAC Contractor and design consultants to develop, review and value manage pipework systems ahead of installation, identifying practical alternatives that improve buildability and reduce cost and program risk without compromising performance.
Our in-house pre-fabrication team manufactures pipework spools, plant room assemblies and riser sections off-site in a controlled workshop environment. This improves quality control, safety and program certainty, while reducing on-site labour, congestion and installation time, allowing us to compress delivery timeframes without compromising on quality.
Pipework installation and connections for plant room equipment including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, AHUs and pumps, together with riser reticulation servicing multi-level buildings. We work closely with the HVAC Contractor to sequence plant room and riser works around the wider services install.
Pressure testing, flushing and system testing carried out in support of the HVAC Contractor’s commissioning program, together to ensure a smooth handover.
